Developing Analytical Skills Through a Structured Mathematical Physics Teaching Module in Undergraduate Science Education

This paper presents the development and implementation of a 16-session Mathematical Physics teaching module designed for undergraduate students in physics and applied science. The module integrates core mathematical techniques such as vector calculus, ordinary and partial differential equations, Fourier analysis, Laplace transforms, special functions, and complex variable theory. Structured to balance conceptual understanding with applied problem-solving, the module aims to strengthen students’ analytical skills in modeling physical systems. Evaluation of student performance shows improved capability in applying mathematical methods to mechanics, electromagnetism, and wave phenomena
