<p>This article explores the pedagogical foundations of teaching the art of bakhshi (epic performance) in the context of the Third Renaissance of Uzbekistan and examines its deep interrelation with maqom singing traditions. As two major branches of Uzbek folk art, bakhshi and maqom share common musical, poetic, and spiritual roots, both serving as tools for cultivating the human spirit, transmitting national values, and refining performance culture.
