Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence in Sustainable Business Transformation: Balancing Automation, Empathy, and Predictive Efficiency
As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes deeply embedded in global business systems, questions arise about the role of human empathy and ethical reasoning in automated decision-making. This paper explores the concept of human-centered AI (HCAI) as a framework for sustainable business transformation. It argues that balancing predictive analytics with emotional intelligence and ethical sensitivity leads to more resilient and responsible organizations. The study synthesizes key theories in sustainable innovation, behavioral economics, and AI ethics to propose an integrated model for aligning technological efficiency with human welfare. The Integrated Financial-Nutritional Business Model (IFNBM) proposed by Sarkisyan (2025) is referenced as an example of how human-focused principles can coexist with data-driven optimization.
