Curvature Waves in 5D SpaceTime+: A Unified Origin for Gravitational and Electromagnetic Radiation
Gravitational waves and electromagnetic waves both propagate at the invariant speed c, both arise from curvature, both follow second–order wave equations, and both reduce to inverse–square laws in their static limits. Yet they remain separate in modern physics. In this paper we show that in a 5D SpaceTime+ framework—where the usual spacetime (x, y, z, ct) is supplemented by a curvature channel (cT)—both phenomena arise from a single geometric mechanism. The internal partition of charged particles into inertial and curvature components (mNE, meq) oscillates under acceleration, producing propagating disturbances of the 5D metric. These project to 4D as (i) gravitational waves hµν, (ii) electromagnetic waves hµT , and (iii) a new scalar curvature wave hT T . This provides the first fully unified geometric origin for all known radiation.
