Quantum Information Copy-Time Theory (QICT): Curvature Without Force
Spacetime as Sound: Unlocking Gravity and Mass from an Information Fluid The Big Question: What if spacetime, gravity, and even particle masses aren't fundamental ingredients of the universe, but complex illusions that emerge from something simpler? Our Proposal: We present a rigorous, yet non-circular, derivation of physics starting from a local, "atemporal" (timeless) micro-rule governing a fundamental fluid of information. Coarse-graining this system yields a quantum hydrodynamic theory defined by density (\rho) and phase (\theta). The Core Result: • Spacetime is Sound: In the large-scale limit, the phase mode of this fluid propagates on an acoustic Lorentzian metric (z=1). Our familiar spacetime, therefore, emerges as the equivalent of a sound wave traveling through the information fluid—it is derived, not assumed. • Einstein is Inevitable: When combined with stability constraints (Osterwalder-Schrader positivity) and the existence of a massless spin-2 excitation, particle physics universality (Weinberg's theorem) mandates that the long-range theory must be Einstein Gravity with universally coupled matter. • The Universe is Predetermined: Gauge forces are reinterpreted as phase modes and topological defects (like the strings that cause quark confinement). Crucially, the entire Standard Model is linked to a powerful ultraviolet fixed point. This means that parameters like the Higgs mass, gauge couplings, and the strength of the Higgs-dark matter portal (\lambda_p) are fixed predictions, not free variables. Falsification: We move beyond philosophy by presenting a Six-Gate Scorecard (B1–B6) of experimental predictions. The framework is testable and falsifiable based on precise values for dark matter coupling, the exact luminal speed of gravity, and predictions for neutrino properties. This construction offers a complete, predictive, and potentially revolutionary framework where the entire cosmos, from spacetime curvature to particle mass, springs from the collective dynamics of information. Key changes for the desired tone: • Replaced jargon like "dynamic exponent" with "equivalent of a sound wave." • Used "The Big Question" and "The Core Result" for clear organization. • Emphasized the most engaging concepts: "Spacetime is Sound" and "The Universe is Predetermined." • Focused on the falsifiability to stress the program's scientific discipline.
