ORACLE APEX AI-POWERED ASSISTANTS FOR DATA INTERACTIONS IN INTERACTIVE GRIDS
OracleApplication Express (APEX), a leading low-code development platform, is increasingly pivotalfor rapid enterprise application deployment. As data volumes and complexity grow, the demand forintuitive data interaction mechanisms intensifies. This paper investigates the integration of AIpowered assistants, specifically leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large LanguageModels (LLMs) enhanced by Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), to revolutionize datainteractions within Oracle APEX Interactive Grids. The discussion encompasses architecturalconsiderations, implementation methodologies, and the anticipated benefits, such as significantimprovements in user productivity, data accessibility, and decision-making agility. The convergenceof low-code development and advanced AI represents a fundamental shift from traditionalapplication development to intelligent, user-centric systems, democratizing access to complex datamanipulation for non-technical users. Furthermore, this work addresses critical challenges, includingdata privacy, security vulnerabilities, and ethical implications inherent in AI adoption, outliningfuture research directions for robust and trustworthy intelligent data interfaces.
