Mass Partition and the (ct) Energy Relation: Discovery and the Birth of 5D

This chapter presents the full, historical path by which the mass–charge partition was actually discovered. We begin with the 4D equation of motion reduced to the (x, ct) plane, introducethe simple proportional postulate the author called the mass equivalent of charge, and showhow a harmonically driven electron yielded the first numeric split. Only later were the samenumbers confirmed independently by a self-field integral and by a Larmor-radiation check. Finally, the invariance revealed by the partition motivates the 5D extension

Abstract

This chapter presents the full, historical path by which the mass–charge partition was actually discovered. We begin with the 4D equation of motion reduced to the (x, ct) plane, introducethe simple proportional postulate the author called the mass equivalent of charge, and showhow a harmonically driven electron yielded the first numeric split. Only later were the samenumbers confirmed independently by a self-field integral and by a Larmor-radiation check. Finally, the invariance revealed by the partition motivates the 5D extension
