Starting from the Nature of Time: Time is a Strategic Concept within the Cognitive System—Simplifying Cosmic Models through Numerical Analysis

This paper proposes and systematically argues for a transformative perspective: the nature of time is not an objectively real fundamental dimension, but a strategic concept of numerical analysis naturally formed by the human cognitive system to handle the infinite complexity of the physical world. By integrating cognitive neuroscience, information theory, and "timeless" theories in contemporary physics, we first provide a detailed demonstration that conceptualizing time purely as a numerical analysis strategy can uniformly resolve core quantum paradoxes. Building on this, we naturally extend this understanding to the concept of space, arguing that spacetime itself is likewise a strategic concept of numerical analysis, and revealing the essence of emergent phenomena from the micro to macro scales. Finally, we posit that numerical analysis conceptualization is a universal strategy for human cognition to process complex information. This recognition provides a novel conceptual framework for understanding physical reality and points toward a new direction for the future development of physics. Furthermore, this framework provides a systematic exposition, from physical principles to cognitive frameworks, for ultimate philosophical questions such as "Where does time come from, and where does it go? Does the universe have a beginning and an end?"
