Data and code for testing applicability of acoustic methods for examination of deadwood arthropod communities
These data are arthropod collection and associated acoustic recordings from deadwood logs, and the r script to calculate 1) traditional biodiversity indices, 2) linear mixed-effects models predicting acoustic diversity with realized traditional diversity, 3) ANOVAs testing for significant differences in waveguides and soundproofing methods tested, and 4) code for making figures to display data. Statistical analysis of data, description of data collection, and discussion of impacts of these data are presented in an Agricultural and Forest Entomology publication titled "Hidden worlds: testing applicability of acoustic methods for examination of deadwood arthropod communities."
