Speculative Mechanism for Past-Life Memory Imprints via Axion-Mediated Consciousness Transfer

Earth's gravitational field traps \sim$$\SI{4e12}{kg} of ultra-light axion dark matter (m_a \simeq \SI{1e-22}{eV}). We propose a speculative mechanism wherein quantum-coherent dipole oscillations in brain microtubules, during Orch-OR collapse events, superradiantly couple to this local axion field via the standard axion-photon interaction. Despite a low transfer efficiency of \eta \sim \num{2e-21} per human lifetime, the cumulative contribution from \bm{\sim$$10^{11}} historical humans yields \bm{\sim$$2\times10^{11}} stored quantum states. During early neurodevelopment, newborn brains may partially resonate with this field, inducing pattern correlations subjectively interpreted as past-life memories. We derive \bm{\eta} rigorously, identify a 500-fold coherence time gap, and propose falsifiable tests using next-generation axion haloscopes and EEG studies.

Abstract

Earth's gravitational field traps \sim$$\SI{4e12}{kg} of ultra-light axion dark matter (m_a \simeq \SI{1e-22}{eV}). We propose a speculative mechanism wherein quantum-coherent dipole oscillations in brain microtubules, during Orch-OR collapse events, superradiantly couple to this local axion field via the standard axion-photon interaction. Despite a low transfer efficiency of \eta \sim \num{2e-21} per human lifetime, the cumulative contribution from \bm{\sim$$10^{11}} historical humans yields \bm{\sim$$2\times10^{11}} stored quantum states. During early neurodevelopment, newborn brains may partially resonate with this field, inducing pattern correlations subjectively interpreted as past-life memories. We derive \bm{\eta} rigorously, identify a 500-fold coherence time gap, and propose falsifiable tests using next-generation axion haloscopes and EEG studies.
