Interventions of Difficult labour
This presentation discusses the causes and classifications of difficult labor (dystocia) and reviews evidence-based interventions used to support safe birth outcomes, including induction of labor, amniotomy, oxytocin augmentation, assisted vaginal delivery, and cesarean section when indicated. The role of the midwife is emphasized, particularly in clinical assessment, timely escalation, emotional support, and preservation of respectful maternity care.
