Persistent Gravitational Wave Memory Across the Galactic Plane: Evidence of Long-Term Spacetime Hysteresis from Quantum Tensor Simulation

This study presents the first high-fidelity quantum-tensor simulation of gravitational-wave memory extending across 200 million years of Galactic evolution. Using the Lumenis IO Earth Engine’s relativistic tensor solver, the model reconstructs curvature persistence produced by ancient supernovae, binary-merger, and cosmic-string events. Results reveal a measurable residual curvature shift (Δv ≈ 10.6 m/s) and stable energy density (≈ 1.26 × 10⁻⁷ MeV), suggesting that spacetime retains a form of structural “memory.”The findings introduce spacetime hysteresis as a quantifiable phenomenon, implying that the Milky Way’s gravitational fabric archives echoes of prior cosmic activity—linking general relativity, quantum field dynamics, and dark-matter interaction into a unified framework.
