Decentralized H∞ preview control for interconnected large-scale systems with quasi-one-sided Lipschitz non-linear dynamics

Abstract This paper proposes a decentralized $H_\infty $ preview control method for a class of non-linear interconnected large-scale systems with quasi-one-sided Lipschitz properties. Firstly, by introducing the state derivative approach and integrating the dynamics of tracking errors with previewable reference signal information, a local augmented error system is constructed for each subsystem. Subsequently, a global augmented error system is developed via a state augmentation technique, thereby transforming the original decentralized preview tracking control problem into a decentralized $H_\infty $ control problem. Furthermore, based on the Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality method, sufficient conditions for the existence of decentralized $H_\infty $ preview controllers and their design methodologies are derived for state feedback and output feedback schemes, respectively. Finally, numerical simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed controller design method.
