Addendum to Quantum Mechanic Temporal Interpretation
Abstract — Addendum The addendum provides a mathematical derivation showing that the Born rule can be obtained from the Temporal Interpretation without adding physical assumptions. The key result is that the probability of a measurement outcome is proportional to the duration a branch of the wavefunction remains temporally compatible with the observer’s proper time. When this compatibility holds, the branch becomes eligible for collapse. When it fails, interference disappears. A falsifiable experimental prediction is presented. In a two-arm interferometer where the proper-time difference between paths can be controlled (e.g., by varying velocity or gravitational potential), interference should vanish abruptly when the temporal mismatch exceeds a finite threshold, even in the absence of environmental decoherence. The Born rule still determines which outcome becomes most probable, while the temporal criterion determines when the collapse becomes unavoidable. This provides a bridge between Hilbert space, the Born rule, and a precise physical mechanism for wavefunction collapse.
