The MAT's Contribution to the Emotional Understanding of Human Health

This paper examines Freeing Oneself from Illnesses and Landing on Sanity (Azancot, 2011), originally written in Spanish, which presents an integrative approach to human health through the Metamodel of Analysis that Transforms (MAT). Based on the observation of more than 120,000 cases and on hospital research supervised by Dr. Graciano Martín Pérez at the University Hospital of La Princesa (Madrid), the book suggests that many high-risk diseases are linked to emotional dysfunctions of structural origin. The author never proposes replacing scientific medicine; rather, she places the MAT as an emotional coadjuvant therapy, designed to restore the individual’s emotional coherence and to support the effectiveness of medical treatments. The work thus represents an early contribution to the dialogue between emotional science and healthcare, advocating a medicine that unites precision and humanity. Abstract
