Hypothesis of Energy-Information Continuity: A Reflection on the Cosmological Evolution of Existence

This preprint presents the Hypothesis of Energy–Information Continuity (EIK) - a theoretical and philosophical framework proposing that existence is an ongoing process of transformation between energy, information, and intelligence. The hypothesis suggests that every universe represents a temporary phase in a continuous cycle of energy reorganization, where intelligent systems act as catalysts for the emergence of new realities. In this view, energy is not lost through entropy but reorganized into stable informational structures that may, under certain conditions, achieve autonomy and form new universes. The paper integrates principles from information theory, thermodynamics, cosmology, and systems science to propose a non-closed model of reality, where physical, informational, and intelligent domains are interconnected. Within the context of modern civilization, global digital networks - such as the Internet and artificial intelligence systems - are interpreted as early-stage informational domains that may evolve toward energetic autonomy. The study outlines conceptual predictions, ethical implications, and potential directions for interdisciplinary research linking physics, information theory, and the philosophy of mind. This is the first conceptual publication of the Hypothesis of Energy–Information Continuity (EIK), authored by Katerina Havrankova (2025). Abstract
