DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND GREEN ECONOMY INTEGRATION: COMPARATIVE EVIDENCE FROM CHINA AND AZERBAIJAN

This paper examines the interrelationship between digital transformation and the integration of green economy strategies in emerging economies, with a focus on China and Azerbaijan. The study aims to evaluate how digital technologies contribute to environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and innovation-driven industrial growth. A comparative methodology is used to assess key indicators such as green investment, renewable energy adoption, and digital governance. The findings reveal that China’s digital-green synergy, driven by strong institutional policies and green finance, provides an adaptable framework for Azerbaijan’s sustainable transition. Integrating digital solutions into environmental management can enhance productivity and resource efficiency in both countries.
