PECULIARITIES OF PARENTS' PERCEPTIONS OF A PRESCHOOL CHILD'S CHARACTER

This article is devoted to the theoretical analysis of the problem of the formation of a preschool child's character in the family context. The article clarifies the essence of the concept of «parents' perceptions of a child's character», systematizes the factors that determine personality development in the system of child-parent relations, and identifies the specific structure of these perceptions, which includes the real and ideal aspects of the child's perception.
