D6.1 - Privacy -and security- by design BlueBird big data reference architecture

The objective of this document is to present the preparation and setup of the technical infrastructure required to support the BlueBird reference architecture. It provides a detailed overview of the enabling technologies, the overall IT architecture, the implementation of the BlueBird data model, and the procedures for preparing and managing data. The architecture has been defined with a strong emphasis on flexibility and adaptability, ensuring that it can integrate seamlessly with the existing IT environments of project partners. Many partners already operate IT architectures to support their current services; therefore, the BlueBird architecture has been designed to complement these infrastructures rather than replace them. This approach minimises disruption and maximises reusability of existing systems. By following this strategy, the project ensures that the deployment of BlueBird services is not only feasible during the project lifetime but also sustainable in the long term. Once the project concludes, partners will be able to continue providing and scaling the developed services within their own infrastructures, maintaining the value created and supporting ongoing innovation in energy management and flexibility services.
