Recommendation for Publishers for Handling Research Supporting Data (CRAFT-OA Deliverable 6.4)

The purpose of this report is to provide guidance to (Diamond) Open Access publishers for handling research supporting data. It focuses on handling research data as an important part of the published research result that should be interconnected with text publications, uniquely and persistently identified, assigned clear and permissive licence and stored in trustworthy repository for reuse. When handling research data, FAIR principles should be followed in general by the publication authors and publisher should insist on proper handling of accompanying research data. This deliverable is currently under review by the EC.
