A social pedagogic lens on early childhood education in the condition of our times

Taking child poverty as the condition of our times, this paper considers how social pedagogy, a discipline focusing on all-round development found in many countries, might contribute to ameliorating the impact of poverty on young children in England through universally accessible early childhood education and care (ECEC) services.
