Self-Reflective Predictive Gradient Mixture-of-Experts
This work proposes a hybrid learning architecture built on Mixture-of-Experts (MoE), extended with predictive gradient computation, adaptive step regulation, creativity-driven stochasticity, and echo-based memory stability. The contribution is structured in three integrated parts: 1️⃣ Core Learning MechanismA predictive gradient descent method is introduced where gradient signals can be anticipated before being explicitly computed. A counting-based learning rate adaptation prevents overshooting and ensures eventual convergence. 2️⃣ Expert Dynamics: Personality & CreativityEach expert unit is updated not just by its gradient contribution, but also by an evolving personality parameter and a controlled noise mechanism that allows structured creative divergence between experts. 3️⃣ Long-Term Memory & Forgetting ControlEcho-memory vectors retain directional learning information over extended timescales, enabling recovery from forgetting and maintaining diversity across experts. The work is intentionally foundational: defining mathematical structure and interaction dynamics, setting up a pathway for future experimental validation and scalable implementation.
