DEVELOPING PREDICTIVE SIMULATION SCENARIOS USING THE BIVARIATE PROBIT MODEL

This study focuses on developing simulation scenarios using the bivariate probit model. In this research, we formulate a bivariate probit model by generating two random binary variables W and W2 and a non- binary variable Z to enable us study the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable using different scenarios. The artificial dataset is generated using the econometric software, LIMDEP 9.
