AN INNOVATIVE EMPLOYEE ATTENDANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH QR CODE INTEGRATION
Organizations often face challenges such as attendance impersonation, poor performance, absenteeism, and low productivity. To address these issues, this study develops a staff attendance management system leveraging Quick Response (QR) code technology. The system captures attendance data, processes it into meaningful information, and provides stakeholders with actionable insights to enhance staff participation and productivity. Acting as both a motivational and enforcement tool, the system aims to improve overall staff performance. A qualitative research methodology was employed, incorporating stakeholder opinions and feedback through focus group interviews. Heuristic evaluation of the system revealed a 72% conformity index, indicating high compliance with the evaluation criteria and demonstrating the system’s effectiveness in addressing organizational attendance challenges.
