Racial Concordance and Empathic Clinical Alignment as Real-World Modulators of Structural Harm: A DSM-H Confirmatory Evidence Synthesis
This evidence paper examines whether the current peer-reviewed record already contains patterns that support the DSM-H framework. The analysis focuses on three mature domains: (i) racial concordance in maternal and neonatal outcomes, (ii) empathy-linked modulation of clinical effectiveness, and (iii) organisational determinants of relational capacity. The Florida cohort of approximately 1.8 million births shows substantially lower mortality for Black newborns when cared for by Black physicians... Taken together, these strands delineate a coherent relational architecture consistent with DSM-H, which conceptualises alignment as a measurable determinant of preventable harm distribution.
