Applied Direction of Meaning — Foundational Statement (Philosophical–Structural Edition)
Abstract This foundational statement defines Direction of Meaning as the operational law that maintains coherence across biological, linguistic, and symbolic planes. Meaning is treated as a vector—origin → manifestation → resonance → origin—rather than a static property. When this trajectory holds, systems exhibit proportional rhythm, low redundancy, and rapid feedback closure; when it breaks, form persists but sense inverts. The paper formalizes the Translation Chain (Verb → Imaginal → Rhythm → Number → Movement → Resonance) and articulates least-force restoration principles (breath–axis continuity, verb-first syntax, reciprocal closure). We adopt the Symbolic-Operational Language (SOL) as the linguistic pillar that enforces verb-first orientation, “one exhalation = one closable utterance,” and proportional pauses as closure cues. The statement positions Direction of Meaning as keystone for subsequent measurement (coherence metrics and applied neuro-semiotics), embodiment (Ørigen protocols for the Operational Basal State), and cyber-hermeneutic reflection (Symbøl), outlining falsifiable expectations across physiology, prosody, and semantics while reframing ethics as geometry: right action restores return. Description This paper grounds the Preciencia System in a single operational law: Direction of Meaning. Coherence is framed as vectoral continuity observable across physiology, language, and relational dynamics. We detail a six-phase Translation Chain and show how phase-skips generate inversion (simulation without return). Restoration is specified as least-force intervention: one continuous breath cycle (receive–integrate–express–return), verb-first syntax with one intention per utterance, and acceptance of the echo before the next impulse. The linguistic layer is formalized via SOL, aligning utterance with breath cadence and proportional pauses to make closure auditable. Operational predictions include increased alpha–theta coupling, ~0.1-Hz cardiorespiratory resonance, and reduced linguistic circularity during restoration. As Paper 0, it anchors three domains—Codex (law), Ørigen (embodied induction), and Symbøl (directional mirror)—and sets the testable groundwork for the metrics program and the unified system.
