Elastic Vacuum Model: Charge as Orientation and Current as Change of Orientation (Part I of the Elastic Field Series)
A phenomenological model is proposed in which electric phenomena are interpreted as orientational deformations of an elastic vacuum field.Electric charge corresponds to a stable deviation of field orientation; electric current — to the time derivative of this orientation; and magnetic field — to the vertical response of the medium. The model explains the behavior of non-contact voltage testers, the capacity of isolated conductors, and the coupling between electric and magnetic components without invoking particle transport. It naturally extends modern electrodynamics by replacing “charge” and “current” with geometrical changes in the orientation of a continuous field.
