The Extent of Employing Smart Green Education Applications in Environmental Awareness from the Perspective of Vocational Education Teachers in Jordan

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the extent to which smart green education applications are employed in environmental awareness from the perspective of vocational education teachers in Jordan. Methodology: A descriptive research design was adopted, and a simple random sampling method was used to select 120 vocational education teachers from public and private schools. A questionnaire was developed to measure the degree of utilization of smart green education applications in promoting environmental awareness. Results: The findings indicated that the utilization of smart green education applications by vocational education teachers in Jordan was at a moderate level across various domains. Furthermore, no statistically significant differences were found based on teachers’ educational qualifications or years of experience. Conclusions: The study concluded that the employment of smart green education applications in environmental awareness by vocational education teachers in Jordan is moderate and does not vary according to teachers’ educational qualifications or years of experience. Recommendations: The study recommends the development of specialized training programs aimed at enhancing teachers’ skills in effectively employing smart green education applications, with an emphasis on integrating technology into environmental education in innovative ways. هدف الدراسة: الى التعرف على درجة توظيف تطبيقات التعليم الأخضر الذكية في التوعية البيئية من وجهة نظر معلمي التربية المهنية في الاردن. منهجية الدراسة: واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي، تم اختيار عينة الدراسة بطريقة العينة العشوائية البسيطة من معلمي التربية المهنية العاملين في المدارس الحكومية والخاصة وبلغ عدد العينة(120) معلم ومعلمة، وتم بناء أداة الاستبانة لقياس درجة توظيف تطبيقات التعليم الأخضر الذكية في التوعية البيئية، واظهرت النتائج ان درجة توظيف تطبيقات التعليم الأخضر الذكية في التوعية البيئية من وجهة نظر معلمي التربية المهنية في الأردن جاءت متوسطة في مختلف المجالات. نتائج الدراسة: تشير النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين المعلمين تُعزى للمؤهل العلمي في توظيف تطبيقات التعليم الأخضر الذكية في التوعية البيئية، كما واظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تُعزى إلى متغير سنوات الخبرة. الاستنتاجات: تشير الدراسة إلى أن توظيف معلمي التربية المهنية في الأردن لتطبيقات التعليم الأخضر الذكية في التوعية البيئية كان بدرجة متوسطة، ولا تختلف ممارسات التوظيف هذه باختلاف المؤهل العلمي أو سنوات الخبرة. التوصيات: واوصت الدراسة بضرورة إعداد برامج تدريبية متخصصة تهدف إلى تطوير مهارات المعلمين في توظيف تطبيقات التعليم الأخضر الذكية بشكل فعّال، مع التركيز على دمج التكنولوجيا في التعليم البيئي بطرق مبتكرة.
