The Standardized Process And Clinical Application Of Digital Orthognathic Surgery
To establish a standardized digital orthognathic surgery process with the support of the Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital Dental and Maxillofacial Malformation Specialty Alliance and evaluate its clinical application effect in our unit Ten patients with dental and maxillofacial deformities who received digital orthognathic surgery treatment from 2022 to 2024 were selected as the research subjects. The treatment was carried out and evaluated according to the process of "clinical data collection, data processing, computer-aided surgical planning and simulation, 3D printing and plywood processing, orthognathic surgery implementation, surgical effect feedback and data recovery, multi-party verification and recording" All 10 patients achieved good surgical outcomes, and the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative follow-up data of the patients, as well as the evaluation and feedback information of the surgeons, were fully preserved. No major errors such as loss or confusion of plywood occurred. Doctors, management nurses, and designers are able to communicate and cooperate smoothly throughout the entire process, and are satisfied with the process arrangement. The standardized digital orthognathic surgery process should include clinical data collection, data processing, computer-aided surgical planning and simulation, 3D printing and plywood processing, orthognathic surgery implementation, surgical effect feedback and data recovery, multi-party verification and recording, etc., which can ensure the accuracy of digital plywood, improve patients' medical experience, work efficiency and treatment effectiveness, and promote the development and popularization of orthognathic surgery in primary hospitals
