Reinterpretation of Cosmic Acceleration through Gödel Term and Torsional Geometry
This paper reinterprets the observed cosmic acceleration as an apparent effect arising from torsional spacetime geometry. Observationally, it is only confirmed that galaxies beyond about six billion light-years recede faster than nearby ones, but no direct observation has shown that the expansion rate itself is accelerating over time. If spacetime has an intrinsic torsion or Gödel-type rotational component, the paths of light (null geodesics) become slightly helical, resulting in an apparent nonlinearity in the distance–redshift relation. Thus, the accelerated expansion may be an optical–geometrical illusion caused by the curvature and torsion of spacetime rather than a dynamical effect of dark energy.
