miR-424 Targets AKT3 and PSAT1 and Has a Tumor-Suppressive Role in Human Colorectal Cancer [Retraction]

Fang Y, Liang X, Xu J, Cai X. Cancer Manag Res. 2018;10:6537–6547. We, the Editors and Publisher of the journal Cancer Management and Research, have retracted the published article. After publication, the authors contacted the Journal in 2025 requesting correction to Figure 7 of their article due to errors which occurred during figure preparation. Further investigation conducted by the Journal and Publisher identified integrity concerns, including unexpected overlaps in Figure 7c of the article with Figure 2c of the authors’ previous publication that are representative of different treatment conditions: Xu J, Wan X, Chen X, et al. miR-2861 acts as a tumor suppressor via targeting EGFR/AKT2/CCND1 pathway in cervical cancer induced by human papillomavirus virus 16 E6.
