Recent results on standard model physics from CMS

The University of Montenegro has been a full member of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Collaboration since 2017. Our research is focused on high-precision measurements of standard model physics, which remains a cornerstone of contemporary particle physics. Such precision measurements serve multiple key purposes: They enable the search for new physics through observed deviations, test the internal consistency of the standard model, improve and constrain its parameters, set limits on new physics scales, and provide essential inputs for other experiments. In this paper, we present a review of recent standard model results, with particular emphasis on the QCD sector at the highest energies and electroweak physics through multiboson production. These results, which represent part of the broader CMS experimental program, were presented at the 12th International Congress of the Balkan Physical Union.
