EMERGENCE OF Q COMMERCE IN SOUTH INDIAN STATES: HURDLES AND POSSIBILITIES

The investigation is centered on grasping the opportunities and challenges associated with the emergence of q-commerce in South India. In the marketplace, individuals are increasingly depending on q-commerce due to the swift delivery and convenience it provides. While the q-commerce is transitioning towards facilitating ease in people's lives, challenges remain. This study concentrates on identifying the requirements of q-commerce customers and the opportunities the q-commerce must seize to resolve these issues. The study employs a quantitative approach, conducting surveys among q-commerce customers. Additionally, it is concluded through regression analysis that all three factors - Pricing, Convenience, and Security - exhibit significant correlations with consumer decision-making. The study's results indicate that customers experience security-related issues, particularly when they feel that stores are requesting excessive information. Nonetheless, they still prefer this option for its convenience, even if it entails a slightly higher cost, as they opt for it to save time.
