MCU-Mediated SIRT3 Inhibition Drives Oxidative Stress-Induced Cytoskeletal Disruption in Pancreatic Ductal Epithelium: A Mechanism of Hypertriglyceridemic Acute Pancreatitis [Retraction]

Hong J, Fu Q, Zhu L, et al. Int J Gen Med. 2025;18:5195–5211. We, the Editors and Publisher of the journal International Journal of General Medicine, have retracted the published article. After publication, the authors contacted the Journal and requested the retraction of the article due to errors that occurred during the original data processing and study execution. Further investigations conducted by the Journal and Publisher confirmed unexpected similarities between the immunofluorescence images in Figure 4D and Figure 6D that are representative of different samples and treatment conditions. As the Editor and Publisher also have concerns about the integrity of the reported results, all parties have agreed to retract the article to ensure the correction of the scholarly record. We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and the COPE guidelines. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
