National implementation experiences and engagement with target groups

Abstract National level implementation is crucial for ensuring that ECAC5 is translated into real-world impact. The Cancer Society of Finland has played a key role in promoting earlier editions of the ECAC and is now preparing for the dissemination of ECAC5. This presentation will share practical lessons from past experience in Finland and reflect on how ECAC messages can be effectively translated for use in national and subnational contexts. In addition to presenting a national case study, the session will briefly reflect on EU-level advocacy, drawing on experience from promoting ECAC with fellow Cancer Leagues in Europe under the umbrella of the Association of European Cancer Leagues (ECL). The presentation will offer insights for organisations across Europe preparing to implement ECAC5, with emphasis on partnerships and message adaptation.
