Connecting in Brisbane: Reflections on International Data Week from the DataCite Community Team

The DataCite team traveled to Brisbane for the International Data Week 2025, the leading international conference on research data. It is jointly organised by the International Science Council’s Committee on Data (CODATA) and World Data System (WDS), and the Research Data Alliance (RDA). It was a great opportunity to connect with familiar and new faces. In this post, we share some of our favorite highlights from the week, including a roundup of our in-person DataCite Connect meetup, and an official introduction to DataCite’s newest team member – Maria Levchenko.
