TOURISME DEVELOPMENT IN THE CITY OF TETOUAN DURING THE SPANISH PROTECTORATE.

With the establishment of the Spanish protectorate in Morocco in 1912, the authorities of the protection pledged to encourage the modernization of the Moroccan administration and facilitate the maximum use of its resources to enhance economic, social, cultural and tourism development. Among the targeted missions, we can cite the preservation of artistic and archaeological heritage and developing the field of tourism. In this paragraph, I will talk about tourism development during the Spanish protectorate in the city of Tetouan, as well as centers and institutions that were established during this period.
