Abstract

This article adopted an overall and global perspective to systematically organize and analyze the core elements of scientific research organizational models. It thoroughly dissected their essence, purpose, characteristics, and applicable scenarios. Combining China's national conditions, it proposes actionable suggestions for strengthening innovation in China's scientific research organizational models under the new era and circumstances. The article emphasized that innovation in China's scientific research organizational models in the new era needed to be driven by national strategic needs. It further called for exploring the organic integration of the 'new national system approach' with market mechanisms, aiming to establish novel research organizational models that provided solid support for achieving high-level self-reliance and strength in science and technology. This research holds significant importance for understanding the inherent laws and demands of scientific research activities, as well as for gaining a profound comprehension of the fundamental principles and core mechanisms underlying scientific research operations. It offers valuable insights for contemporary research management practices to enable the precise selection and innovative design of research organizational models tailored to specific research contexts.
