Primary care services at the frontline – ensuring access and affordability

Abstract This presentation will share evaluations of key interventions implemented in Ukraine to ensure access and affordability of PHC services in the most conflict-affected areas of Ukraine. It will focus in particular on the delivery of essential medical supplies, the deployment of outreach health units, and rapid support for front-line health facilities. Outreach health units have played a vital role in reaching remote and conflict-affected communities, delivering primary care, mental health support, and vaccinations to populations cut off from traditional health facilities due to security threats and displacement.
