The current situation, problems and counter measures of talent team construction in China's science and technology innovation centers

China has established three major international science and technology innovation centers in Beijing, Shanghai, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as three regional innovation centers with national influence in Chengdu-Chongqing, Wuhan, and Xi'an. These centers have gathered a large number of talents and innovation resources, serving as strategic hubs for China to build a world-class talent center and innovation highland. This paper systematically analyzed the current situation of talent team construction in science and technology innovation centers, concluding that these centers had prominent advantages in talent aggregation, abundant resources such as R&D investment and platform construction, and significant improvements in innovation efficiency. At the same time, it also identified some problems in talent team construction, such as the shortage of high-level talents, the efficiency of talent innovation and entrepreneurship need to be enhanced, and the talent development environment and innovation ecosystem need to be improved. Based on the above status quo and problems, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for further strengthening talent team construction.
