GLUT DNA TRANSFER METHOD INTO THE HUMAN OR ANIMAL CELLS
Based on the compelling in vitro evidence, glucose-conjugated DNA vectors emerge as a highlypromising platform for targeted gene therapy. This strategy successfully hijacks the cell'sabundant and ubiquitous glucose transport machinery, overcoming the primary barrier of cellularentry that has long plagued non-viral gene delivery. The demonstrated efficiency and specificityof this glucose-facilitated uptake position it as a major application, particularly for treatingmetabolic diseases and cancers where target cells exhibit a voracious demand for glucose. Byexploiting this natural metabolic pathway, this technology paves the way for smarter, moreefficient, and tissue-specific genetic medicines with reduced off-target effects, representing asignificant leap forward in the safe and effective clinical application of gene therapy.
