Law of Minimal Ontological Load (MOL) Whitepaper v1.0 - English Version

The Law of Minimal Ontological Load (MOL) is formulated as a universal principle determining the direction of self-organization of systems of any nature. According to MOL, any stable system tends to a state where the aggregate ontological load of its description is minimal while maintaining sufficient level of informational integrity. Abstract

The Law of Minimal Ontological Load (MOL) is formulated as a universal principle determining the direction of self-organization of systems of any nature. According to MOL, any stable system tends to a state where the aggregate ontological load of its description is minimal while maintaining sufficient level of informational integrity. Formally: E* = argmin O(ℰ) subject to ℐ ≥ ℐ_min This document systematizes the basic meta-principles of MOL, generalizes their manifestations in various fields (physics, biology, cognitive and social systems) and defines directions for further research. The document introduces the Periodic Table of MOL Meta-Principles - a system of 11 universal principles organized by fundamental aspects of reality: Dynamics, Structure, Information, and Time/Symmetry. --- TRANSLATION NOTEThis is the official English translation of the original Russian whitepaper (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17422128).
