Analytical science as a framework for reliable artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a valuable instrument of scientific discovery, capable of identifying correlations, optimizing processes, and accelerating hypothesis generation. Yet despite its computational power, AI still struggles with a fundamental problem: it often lacks grounding in how knowledge is generated. It can predict outcomes without understanding causes. The next generation of AI will require not just improved algorithms, but a theory of measurement: a structured way to connect data, meaning, and physical reality. Analytical science offers precisely such a framework.
