Two research questions and two hypotheses guided the study. The study was a descriptive survey design. The population of the study consist of 26 lecturers from tertiary institutions in Abia State offering Business Education courses. The entire population was used because it was manageable. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire which was structured along a four-point scale. The data collected were analysed using mean, standard deviation, and t-test statistics. Mean was used to answer research questions while standard deviation was used to ascertain the closeness and homogeneity of the response items. The hypotheses were tested using the t-test statistics at 0.05 level of significant. The findings revealed among others that Business Educators required digital literacy skills, digital database skills, for virtual teaching and learning of Business Education courses in tertiary institutions. The findings further revealed that there is no significant difference between the mean responses of male and female Business Educators on interactive digital data literacy skills, and digital database skills, required for teaching and learning of Business Education courses in tertiary institutions in Abia State. Based on the findings of the study, it was recommended among others that Business Educators should acquire relevant digital skills essential to remain relevant in the current technological changes.
