Conceptual Note Series No.5 : Response Patterns in AI Dialogue — An Observation across Questioning Styles and Dialogue Directions —
Abstract (English) This note organizes AI responses from the perspective of “response types.”Building on the previously proposed two axes—questioning style (design-oriented / response-oriented) and dialogue direction (forward flow / reverse flow)—it overlays three observed response types (projection, coordination, expansion) and examines their correspondence. The correspondences presented here are not definitive but should be understood as tentative observations. By combining the three response types with the fourfold framework, this note aims to provide a structural lens for understanding the variability of AI responses. This is a revised version of the previous release (v1).The content remains largely the same, but the license has been updated. This version may be freely used for non-commercial and academic purposes only. For commercial use, please contact the author (Tsumugi Iori).
