Abstract

The studies claim that there is a significant weakness in the output of learning Arabic language among the students. The attempts are being taken to introduce and implement successful educational systems that are compatible with non-Arabic speaking students. So, this study aims to examine the role of outcome-based education in improving the quality of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. As a system that encourages the formulation of expected learning outcomes before developing learning curricula, and linking them with teaching and assessment strategies in a way that facilitates the achievement of learning outcomes, this research believes that this system plays a great role in the process of developing the teaching of Arabic to non-native speakers.
