Die rechtliche Regelung der Eheschließung in Nahverhältnissen im interreligiösen Vergleich – ein Versuch - The Legal Regulation of Marriage in Affinity Relationships in an Interreligious Comparison – an Attempt

This article attempts to identify the similarities and differences in the religious law of Judaism, Christianity and Islam concerning marriage in affinity relationships. It does so by synoptic comparison and presents the results found for discussion. By way of a digression, it touches on the question of whether and which special law applies to the descendants of the Levitical priests as well as to the descendants of the prophet.
