Title: Project Cosmos – The Ontology of Vibration: Cosmocentric Process Realism
Abstract This paper presents The Ontology of Vibration, a cosmocentric framework uniting metaphysics, physics, and ethics through the rhythmic principle of resonance. Its central axiom states: Being is vibration — the universe as rhythmic breath rather than static substance. The cosmos unfolds in a four-phase cycle — Ignotum (creative non-knowledge), Logos (order), Cognitum (self-awareness), and Negotum (active forgetting) — forming the Quaternitas Vivens, the living breath of the universe. Methodologically, the work develops Resonance Hermeneutics, treating knowledge as dynamic equilibrium between knowing and not-knowing. Physically, it aligns with string theory and gravitational-wave cosmology, proposing Vibrational Gravity: gravity as condensed knowledge and space as its resonant release. Ethically, it grounds an Ethics of Resonance, where moral value emerges from maintaining balance between Logos and Ignotum. The anthropological symbol of the Asinus Ignoti (“Donkey of Non-Knowledge”) embodies redeemed reason — thinking that breathes instead of stagnating. The cosmos lives because it vibrates; it vibrates because it breathes; and it breathes because it can forget. Description Project Cosmos – The Ontology of Vibration introduces a new process-realist ontology in which the universe, consciousness, and ethics share a single breath of existence. The work bridges metaphysics and physics by interpreting vibration as the ontological structure of being itself. Its author, Sascha Lenze, draws from Whitehead, Barad, Rosa, Jung, Nietzsche, and Kirchhoff, while integrating direct technical experience from two decades in vacuum and cryogenic systems (Bruker Advanced Superconductors, Leybold GmbH). The paper connects empirical physics with philosophical cosmology, proposing a living model of the cosmos as a self-breathing, self-renewing field of resonance.
