Paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration secondary to occult invasive lobular carcinoma of the breast
We report a rare case of paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration (PCD) secondary to an occult invasive lobular breast carcinoma. The patient presented with rapidly progressive cerebellar symptoms and was found to have anti-Zic4 antibodies, an association uncommon in breast cancer. This case underscores the diagnostic challenge of PCD and highlights the importance of considering paraneoplastic causes in unexplained neurological decline. Keywords:Paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration, breast cancer, anti-Zic4 antibodies, neurology, case report
