ON ONE PROPERTY OF THE NUMERICAL RANGE OF A TWO-PARAMETER SPECTRAL PROBLEM

In this article studies the numerical range of one class of two-parameter spectral problems with compact self adjoint operators. It is proved that even without the requirement of neither right nor left of definiteness condition, the numerical range of the problem under consideration does not contain some  neighborhood ) ; ( ОU of a point )0,0(О of the real plane 2R . The exact upper bound of the values of the parameter is found.

Abstract

In this article studies the numerical range of one class of two-parameter spectral problems with compact self adjoint operators. It is proved that even without the requirement of neither right nor left of definiteness condition, the numerical range of the problem under consideration does not contain some  neighborhood ) ; ( ОU of a point )0,0(О of the real plane 2R . The exact upper bound of the values of the parameter is found.
